ZOU Xinyuan comes from Yunnan province and now studies at Nanjing University. Although she is majoring in electronic science, she has been deeply interested in psychology since middle school. Once confused about her future plans, she has now found the connection between her major and interest by studying neuropsychology. She is currently preparing to apply to a master’s program.
She dedicates significant time to volunteer work. She has helped children with autism, guided tourists in the zoo, and been to a high school in a rural area to tutor local students. She is the leader of the volunteer team to spread knowledge of first-aid to the neighborhood. She also took part in the peer counselor training camp and is now focused on group counselling. Furthermore, she took part in an Electronic Design Competition and won the national second prize. She is also a team member of the provincial college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship project. She loves to communicate with people and serve as the Executive Committee of Nanjing University’s Yanxing Community. She is fond of reading books and watching movies. Philosophy, poems, essays, and novels are her favorite. She enjoys sports, swimming and playing ball. She is eager to try new things and discover new pleasures. |
