ZHANG Yunhui 张芸惠Electrical Engineering & Automation

Yunhui is highly driven, curious, passionate and a team player. She is a studying electrical engineering at Tsinghua and wants to be an electrical engineer. She also plans to apply to the dual-degree in EE and management. She is currently participating in a Tsinghua University Science project on smart grid and may compete at the National level. She also made her own USB disk last year and hopes to study abroad in Germany or the US in the future. For this, she is taking classes to prepare for the GRE.
Yunhui is an only child and is very grateful to her family for having instilled good values and discipline since early age. Her mother is a factory worker and her father stopped working in order to take care of her grandmother who is bedridden. She considers herself lucky and volunteers 5 hours per week to make posters and write articles for the publicity team at Tsinghua’s volunteer center. In addition, she serves as one of the Yanxing Executive Committee members representing her university. She loves giving back and declared that "community service is a part of my life." Her diverse hobbies include accordion, playing football and dance. “If I were not a member of the scholarship, my English would be poorer.” |
