Chao Zhang 张超

Chao is originally from Wuhan, China and grew up in Zhuhai, Guangdong province in Southern China. After graduating from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, she decided to pursue an overseas education and successfully obtained a full-scholarship with the University of Delaware's Applied Economics program.

Currently she is Co-founder and CEO of an online marketplace startup based in NYC.  Previously she held product management and product marketing roles with Citigroup’s New York, Seoul, and Shanghai offices.   At Citigroup’s Seoul office, she led the team to revamp the user on-boarding process and launched several expatriate friendly branches in South Korea.  At Citibank China, she led product development efforts of the Ultima credit card targeting the ultra high net-worth population.  Prior to Citi, she held product management role with AIG insurance and managed a $62MM P&L.  Chao holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business
