Qixuan has been interested in mathematics since childhood is currently studying Engineering and Automation at the College of Automation. She plans to continue her research into power electronics, specifically power transformation and power grid optimization, in the hopes of becoming an electrical engineer engaged in power electronic design related work. She has one of the top GPAs in her major and participates regularly in competitions, such as on mathematical modeling, circuit design and innovation.
She has a strong desire to study abroad and has been preparing for the IELTS exam. She is also involved in several community service activities, for example, serving as the secretary and deputy director of the Learning Department of Yanxing (QZMS’s partner organization in China), volunteering at a nursing home and tutoring middle school students online. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, watching movies, shopping, walking, cycling and exploring delicious food, all of which helps her “to be more relaxed, more optimistic and healthier” to offset her intense studies. |
