WANG Mingyue comes from a family of four in a small village in Henan Province. Her father works as an excavator operator to support the whole family. Neither of her parents went beyond elementary school, but they take her and her sister’s education seriously. They told Mingyue: “If you want to live a better life, to do what you want, you should study hard to go out of our small village first.” Impressed with these words, she and her sister always tried their best in their studies and other aspects. Now, Mingyue attends Beihang University and believes her younger sister will do even better than her.
Based on her interests in the development cars and the influence of some professors in her college, Mingyue hopes she can make a contribution to the electrical car industry as a science researcher. In order to get more relevant skills, she has joined relevant student clubs and become a research assistant for a professor. “I always believe that there is a great soul inside everybody, I think I can get closer and closer towards my dream.” |
