I grew up in Beijing. After high school, I went to the US with a scholarship from PCCW Ltd which helped finance my college tuition. I studied finance at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Becoming extremely interested in doing research, I went on to graduate school at MIT, where I completed my PhD in financial economics in 2014. Thereafter, I returned to Asia and am now an assistant professor at the University of Hong Kong. My husband and I are extremely honored to join our dear friend Yin in supporting young and talented female students in the Qian Zheng Memorial Scholarship program. We look forward to sharing experiences with this wonderful group of scholars and making a difference.
