I am a Peruvian retail entrepreneur and investor. I have managed over 100 stores, catalog operations, and an e-commerce business. I am interested in leveraging my experience to support and advise businesses and their teams.
I come from a family of entrepreneurs who started from humble beginnings. My grandparents left China in search of opportunities in Peru, where they arrived with nothing but hopes and dreams. Through much perseverance, they managed to start a small shoe factory, which my parents then expanded into a thriving retail business. I spent most of my childhood free time helping out with the family business, where I learned first hand the importance of grit, integrity, and humility. I received an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in finance and entrepreneurship. In addition to the family business, my prior work experience includes management consulting and consumer products sales. My interests outside of work have included volunteering as a firefighter and training Shaolin kung fu in China. While I continue to be involved with the family business, I have also embarked on other entrepreneurial ventures and currently split my time between Peru and New York. |
