During her sophomore’s year, she took part in the Fengru Cup in her school. She put forward a new business model of drone delivery medical resources. She is the first author of the project and got the bronze award. what’s more, she and her teammates got the H award in MCM(Mathematical Contest in Modeling). She enjoys challenging herself and participates different contests. Recently, she is having the “machine learning” courses taught by Andrew Ng online. In her spare time, she likes doing volunteer work. She said: “Two of the greatest pleasures in my life are creation and dedication.” In addition, Yuxin enjoys dancing, which helps her build confidence and physical fitness. In 2017, she represented her university at a dance competition in Beijing and won the gold award. [If it weren’t for QZMS] “I think maybe I would be less confident and energetic. Without the encouragement of my mentor, without the personal workshop, I will be in my own circle. It helps me to open my horizon and know that there are plentiful excellent people and I should learn from them.” Advice for future Scholars: “I think the participation and the enthusiasm is really important. I find that there are some scholars in QZ don't participate in activities positively. Maybe they are really busy. But I do think the activities QZ held is really helpful. It's absolutely not wasting time. On the contrary, we can learn more and be closer to other scholars. So for the next year, I think applicants need to show real passion about this organization. If not, she should not be admitted.” |
