Qin comes from a remote village in Xinjiang province. Her family relies on farming for their income and both her parents have chronic illnesses, thus she feels very motivated to relieve her parent’s financial pressure. She has a strong appreciation for the sacrifices her parents have made to bring up their daughters and guide them towards academic success.
She is majoring in water engineering because “I think water is a limited resource in the world. In the future, water resources research will be a very important field with a great prospect for development. Her hopes to be a graduate researcher in the design of hydraulic dams and urban water construction. Is a very active volunteer and also has many interests such as badminton, darts, jazz dance and singing Peking opera. |
