Ling Qi was born in a remote village in Dandong City, Liaoning Province. At first, she had a happy family, but when she was 12, her father was diagnosed with cancer and died. Her father's death did not make her lose hope for the future. On the contrary, she was more about self-improvement and remained positive. She is well aware of the importance of education in changing the fate of a rural child. Therefore, although she did not have access to many educational resources and advanced technology, she still had a good ranking in the class with her own efforts. Last year, she was admitted to Beihang University with an excellent result.
In her childhood studies, mathematics and physics have always been her strengths, and she also has a strong interest in these fields. After college, unlike in junior high school, she came into contact with many things she had never touched. These things broadened her horizons. She couldn't wait to try more new things. At the same time, she also found the importance of basic disciplines for engineering learning, which strengthened her commitment to learning basic disciplines well. Now, as a sophomore at Beihang University, she is learning relevant knowledge in the field of aerospace. Along the way, she received many people's help and felt a lot of warmth and love. These have had a great impact on her, so she also wants to be a cheerful and sunny person, bring warmth to others, and have a little positive impact on them, if possible. Therefore, she actively participates in public welfare volunteer activities and wants to do her best to help the people around her. She served as a volunteer for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, during the grand ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games. After entering University, by chance, with the introduction of her classmates, she learned that the core spirit of Yanxing is "accepting love, transmitting love, and giving love", which is what she has been looking for. Therefore, she immediately signed up to join the wild goose bank and became a little goose. All along, she has been trying to explore more development possibilities. She is not willing to set restrictions on herself, actively participates in many competitions and activities, and achieves good results. She doesn't easily deny herself because she comes from the countryside. She believes that she still has a long way to go in the future. She will stick to it all the time and won't give up easily |
