Mentor

I was born and raised in Toronto before moving to San Francisco. I attended the University of Waterloo and obtained both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance. Then later becoming a designated Chartered Professional Accountant. While in school, I spent a semester abroad at Tsinghua University learning about the history of my cultural roots and got the added bonus of becoming conversationally friendly in Mandarin.

I have an insatiable curiosity for learning and exploring. While my background is traditionally finance focused, I’ve broaden my interest and skill set into tech. I consulted at the Big 4 companies, managed operations for a large real estate investment portfolio, and now I work at an emerging fitness tech company where I hone my entrepreneurial tool box each day.
I’m excited to share my curiosity for learning, exploring and developing to the talented Qian Zheng scholars. I hope to be a support system that can help instill the confidence within these young women to achieve their mark on the world.
