Bai Linling was born in a poor family in Yangquan City, Shanxi Province. Her parents supported their family by doing odd jobs. Her father mainly does some manual labor, which is very hard. He suffers from leg pain from long-term physical work. Looking at her parents' hard work, Linling learned from her childhood that only by studying hard can her family live a better life. From primary school to university, she is always at the top of her class. Her parents are also proud of her.
Linling's major is automation, which is closely related to the fields of electrical and computer science. The core concept of this major is control. She thinks control is very interesting. Some codes and several circuit boards can make the object move according to the set track, which is very magical and interesting. She got full marks or close to full marks in most courses in her major. Her efforts have landed her among the top 3% of students in her major. Linling can't go to university without the help of the state and society, so she also tries to repay society. She actively participates in volunteer work. In the summer of 2019, she joined the Yanxing summer Inspirational Speech Tour and went to Anyang City, Henan Province to bring interesting summer camp activities and inspirational activities to local high school students. Linling shared with them her learning methods and what she has seen and heard in university, helps them improve themselves and participate in the college entrance examination more smoothly. She also often goes to the library to do volunteer activities, such as organizing the books. Linling is willing to challenge her limits. She knows that she can improve herself step by step only by stepping out of her comfort zone. |
